About me

Welcome and thanks for giving me your time to become familiar with my short art life story.

I was born into an artistic family. My mom and my 3 uncles are all oil painters, and in my childhood world, they were my heroes. Their influence leads me into the world of art. During my school years, my study books were full of cartoons of my classmates and my teachers.

These drawings were very humorous and sometimes got me into trouble!!!

After graduating from university, I started drawing and painting in a private art school with one of the best Persian artists Mehdi Alizadeh. I learned the magic of colors for more than 10 years. During this period, I was copying famous oil painters like Renoir, and 2 Persian artists, Katozian and Dadashi, and also painting some original works. Portraits and flowers were my oil painting subjects.

After 2 decades, my art style evolved when I began to paint again in Vancouver. I have been a student at the Supernal Art Academy in North Vancouver. I now work in watercolor and acrylics with Farhad Sadeghi Amini, one of the best Persian artists in Canada Participating in the North Vancouver Community Arts Council's annual exhibition for the first time in 2014, I sold 2 of my 3 works. Now, flowers are my special subjects. I really like to spend time amongst the gardens and enjoy and am inspired by the details, colors, and spirituality of nature. As I take photos and transform those fabulous shapes into drawings and paintings, I think, "Wow! How beautiful God has created them!" I think flowers are the most beautiful creatures in the world.
